Which game engines can AXIS Foundry export to?
AXIS Foundry exports to four game engines: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot and Roblox. Each export is a GLB set up for its engine, and a rigged character uses that engine's skeleton: HumanIK for Unity, the Mannequin for Unreal, Skeleton3D for Godot 4 and R15 for Roblox. An engine-neutral GLB is offered too.
Engine by engine
| Engine | What you get | How it imports |
|---|---|---|
| Unity | A GLB; rigged characters on a HumanIK skeleton | Unity's glTFast package |
| Unreal Engine | A GLB; rigged characters on the Mannequin skeleton | Unreal's built-in glTF importer |
| Godot 4 | A GLB; rigged characters as a Skeleton3D | Godot imports glTF and GLB scenes directly |
| Roblox | A blocky Roblox-style GLB, 20,000 faces for avatars and 10,000 for other assets; avatars as R15 characters | Roblox Studio's 3D Importer |
The engine-neutral choice exports a plain GLB with Unreal's conventions, the server's default.
Other formats
The hosted site delivers GLB. The self-hosted engine also writes OBJ, STL, USDZ and FBX, and 3D-print prep adds an STL in millimetres.
