Authentication
No credential is required to connect. Tool discovery (tools/list) and the free tools answer unauthenticated. Paid tools respond HTTP 402 with x402 payment requirements — agents with x402 support pay per call in USDC on Base; human account holders pass an API key instead:
Authorization: Bearer <your AXIS API key>
Create a free account at avatar.jonathanarvay.com to get a key and a token balance. Free accounts start with tokens; there is no anonymous paid tier.
Example prompts
Say these to any assistant connected to the server:
- “Generate a game-ready 3D avatar of a weathered dwarven blacksmith in a leather apron, rig it, and export it for Unity.”
- “Take this reference image and build a Roblox R15 character from it — all 15 body parts, watertight, ready for Studio's 3D Importer.”
- “Check the status of my generation job, then run the 38-rule validator and tell me the triangle count, bone count, and anything that failed.”
- “Make the base color of the asset I just generated lighter, like sandy grey, without losing the surface detail.”
- “Run a Roblox compliance check on this GLB and tell me exactly which spec rules it violates.”

Safety & annotations
Every tool carries standard MCP hints. The twelve analysis, repair, and export tools are annotated readOnlyHint: true; the two GPU generation tools are annotated readOnlyHint: false because each call creates a new asset and a new charge. No tool is destructive — every tool is annotated destructiveHint: false, nothing deletes or overwrites a caller's stored assets, and no tool reaches outside this service.
Data handling
Prompts and reference images are processed to build the asset you requested and to keep the generation resumable for continuations you buy (re-texture, rig, print prep). We never train AI models on your content. Source photos are not retained as a face database. Card data never touches our servers. Full detail — retention windows, sub-processors, GDPR bases, deletion requests — is in the Privacy Policy; billing and refund behaviour is in the Refunds Policy.
Failure behaviour
The server is refusal-by-default. If generation, validation, or export cannot meet the quality bar — mesh not watertight for a target that requires it, a rig that fails the deformation gate, an asset beyond the safety ceiling — the call returns an error explaining exactly why, and the charge is refunded automatically. A tool never returns a degraded asset in place of the one you asked for.
