What is AXIS Foundry and what does it generate?
AXIS Foundry turns a text prompt or a reference image into an engine-ready 3D asset. It generates eight kinds: avatars, props, vehicles, environments, creatures, weapons, armour and accessories. Each passes 38 validation rules and is delivered as a GLB for Unity, Unreal, Godot or Roblox, and every character carries a signed provenance chain.
What you get
- A GLB file, the binary form of the glTF 2.0 standard, tuned for the engine you pick. The self-hosted engine also writes OBJ, STL, USDZ and FBX.
- Hosted meshes at 20,000 or 125,000 faces, sized for games and the web. Self-host the engine on your own GPU for multi-million-face detail meshes.
- Validation before delivery. 38 rules run before export. A mesh that misses the bar it was asked for is refused and the tokens are refunded, rather than shipped worse.
- Provenance. Every stage of a character's build is hashed into a signed SHA-256 chain that anyone can check at Verify a file.
- The same input gives the same asset. The pipeline is deterministic: regenerate and get byte-identical geometry.
How a generation runs
You type a prompt or drop a reference image, pick one of the eight asset kinds and your target engine. Foundry generates the mesh with an open-weight 3D model, repairs it, runs the validation rules and exports a clean GLB. Texture, rigging and 3D-print prep are separate steps, added only to assets you already own.
What it does not do yet
The gaps are public: what is not built yet lists what does not work today.
